One week after surgery

It was a rough week, but so far so good. As you can see above it looks like a completely normal ear (just a little bruising), and the canal opening isn't an issue at all. Thanks Dr. Singh!

In our attempt to keep him from pulling off his bandages we broke out the Yoda hat. No luck. We went against doctor's orders and stopped the head wrap...it was a constant struggle and I really didn't see how it was helping anyway as he wasn't coming close to ever messing with his ear while it was off.

The Zoo

We randomly ran into Dora and Boots at the zoo. I freaked.

Does Dora really need to wear a belly shirt?

I talked to this turkey about Dora.

October 2010: surgery and my swing.

So my right concha bowl was convex instead of concave, and was partially obstructing my canal. Here is the before pic...after pic to follow.

Didn't slow me down a bit. My parents had a blast when my "helmet" fell off the night after surgery and they had the pleasure of putting a special gauze pack back in my swollen bleeding ear, while I held perfectly still and let them gently place more gauze over that, and then easily wrap it with 8 layers of coban before putting the stockinette on top. I assure you I held perfectly still and didn't cry one bit. I kept hearing this word "divorce" though, and Mommy admitting that Daddy was right about something in hindsight.

Everything in the mouth.

Me likey the swing.

Aunt Mamta gets married, Sept 2010

We love weddings during football season.

I puked all over my fancy Indian outfit and needed a sink bath.

Vijay teaches me how to play piano.

I had all my grandmothers with me that weekend.

August 2010 was hot. I stayed inside with my new nanny.
